STAAR MASTER® for Social Studies
Our STAAR MASTER® product line for Social Studies provides practice and review material for the STAAR®. Due to the breadth of material covered, the items are divided into two work texts. Students can easily focus on mastering all required skills and build test-taking confidence. Teachers can readily address all STAAR®-eligible TEKS, ensure depth of understanding, and provide repeated practice in a variety of contexts. Exercises are designed to develop deep knowledge in the subject area and help the student practice critical thinking. The STAAR MASTER® Social Studies solutions have been revised for the new streamlined 2019-2020 TEKS standards.
Student Practice Book
PURPOSE: STAAR MASTER® Student Practice Books for Social Studies are designed to provide high-quality targeted practice for the STAAR® in order to improve students’ knowledge and build test-taking confidence.
DESCRIPTION: STAAR MASTER® Student Practice Books for Social Studies contain a large volume of items that cover a broad range of topics and ideas of interest to students. Due to the breadth of material covered, the items are divided into two volumes. Volume I covers Reporting Categories 1 and 2, and Volume II covers Reporting Categories 3 and 4. Volume I tackles issues and events surrounding US History and Geographic and cultural influences on historical issues and events. Volume II explores the role of government and economic and technological impacts on historical issues. The items are 100% aligned to the assessed TEKS and address all STAAR®-eligible standards.

PURPOSE: STAAR MASTER® Teacher Guides are comprehensive resources that provide critical information and strategies for preparing students for the STAAR®.
